Airstones: Low resistance ceramic Air Diffusers. Provides more output due to less back pressure. Allows Air pump
to operate at higher flows. Can be cleaned and re-used for many years. Fused ceramic airstones last far longer with less back pressure than conventional hobbyist grade “bonded” airstones. The
#AS.4 is compact enough to fit inside Hydro-Sponge filters with minimal water flow restriction due its small size. For higher air/water flow in the largest Hydro V use the #AS.6L
Round Ball type
or ASL series are an excellent choice for large Aquariums, Ponds or larger holding vats. Their extremely large diameter provides the lowest resistence with increased outputs. Combine with any of our LPH
series Air Pumps for superior aeration in high density conditions. Extended square bumpers on ASL diffusers protect them from damage.
For ease of maintenance use the rubber membrane type
diffusers. These will not clog due to the flexible rubber membranes which continuously self cleans its pores.
