Large Cartridge Filters: Suitable for Central Systems or Large Aquaria.
The smallest can handle up to 6000 gpm flow rate. Replacement cartridges available in standard micron sleeve or large mesh screen type for higher flow rates. Cartridge filters require mid to high head pumps to prevent excessive pressure drop across cartridge.Call for specific apllication assistance. Cartridge filters are usefull for removing particulate prior to UV Sterilization. Always install directly upline of UV units.Cartridges can be rinsed clean or even bleached and put back in service for many years. All units have top loading cartridges for ease of service.
