Dried feeds are arranged top to bottom in size ascending order. Smallest such as Daphnia are on top and
largest such as superba krill are at the bottom of the page. Cubed product such as FD Brine Shrimp or Tubifex can be fed to larger fish since cubing creates a large morsel from smaller organism.
Dried Daphnia: (freshwater water flea)
Long known to breeders for its diuretic like effects, daphnia is still used as a supplement in many feeding regimens.
Sun Dried Daphnia:
Sun drying is used as an economical process to preserve this feed when nutrition is not of paramount importance.

Freeze Dried Bloodworms
Approximate Analysis: Protein - 58%, Fat - 5%, Fiber - 2%, Moisture - 4%. A great high protein conditioning food for finicky eaters.
Bloodworms are not true “worms” (not the type sold as bait for sport fisherman) nor are they Mosquito larvae as they are sometimes mis-labeld, but Bloodworms are rather a larvae stage of the
insect Midge Fly (Chironomus genus). Nice sized worms, with a minimum of powder from processing. Bloodworms can be rehydrated with water by spraying on a foil sheet and freezing. This will allow them to
sink readily for bottom feeders. * CAUTION! A small percentage of people can have alergic reactions when handling “Bloodworms”. If you are not sure if you may be alergic, handle
carefully and handle only a very small amount the first time. Protect exposed skin and avoid breathing any “dust” Alergies can also develop or increase in severity with increased exposure

Freeze Dried Brine Shrimp
Approximate Analysis: Protein - 50%, Fat - 2%, Fiber - 3%, Moisture - 9%. Freeze Dried Brine Shrimp have very high attractant values enticing
even the finickiest fish to feed. High protein with roughage from the exoskeleton provides a great supplement for all fish. Can be pressed anywhere onto the sides of Aquarium for a feeding frenzy, or
mixed in with home prepared food mixes (Beefheart mix, etc.) for added attractant value. FD Brine Shrimp is supplied in sheets /chunks or pre-cut cubes. Break off suitably sized piece and drop in
aquarium directly or break up into smaller pieces before feeding.
Mysis is an organism similar in size (~1/4”) or slightly smaller than E. pacifica. Many fish which reject Krill or plankton will readily
take Mysis. Mysids are known for their exceptional nutritional value and make a good conditioning food. High protein levels and carotenoids. Fresh product with good attractant value.
These are the smaller ocean plankton about 1/4” in length, some refer to this crustacean as “Krill” also. Our plankton is
carefully handled during the Harvest, Freeze Drying and packaging to assure a fresh undamaged organism. Very high protein levels, carotenoids and HUFAs. An excellent conditioning food. Approximate
Analysis: Protein - 68%, Fat - 8%, Fiber - 13%, Moisture - 8%.

This is the large Antarctic Krill harvested in the cold waters of the Antarctic. It is the primary diet of the humpback whale and a much researched species of ocean plankton. It is
believed the abundance or lack thereof is directly related to the planet’s climate changes. The food value of this crustacean is very high, providing high protein, valuable nutrients and
minerals, some of which are not found in other foods. Its exoskeleton contains high levels of natural color enhancing pigments in the form of astaxanthene. It is also among the most costly of food for
your fish due to the distance it must travel to reach our market and the difficulty in harvesting in cold waters, yet its superior nutrient value keeps it a much used ingredient in many prepared foods
and also used as a secret breeding conditioning food for many breeders. SEE ALSO Freeze Dried Krill FINES for a highly effective fry growth feed or feed additive.
