BULKHEAD FITTINGS
The key to setting up a Central Filter System is being able to overflow water from your existing tanks into a central sump area. To do this the first step is to install Bulkhead Fittings in each tank at the height you wish to maintain water level. For smaller tanks or those with a slow turnover rate use 1/2” B-Fittings. The 3 listed below with the “K” suffix are supplied as complete tank fitting kits which include an Intake Screen and elbow (90deg.) Hose Barb Fitting. All bulkhead fittings include a nut and rubber washer for securing a water-tight seal on any glass or acrylic aquarium or plastic tank wall. Separate parts are also available. For large high volume applications (large Aquariums) we suggest using the higher grade Schd. 80 Fittings (Call for price).
We also carry Intake Sponges to guard against small fry passage, as well as clear PVC Flexible Tubing and Hose Barbs to connect to PVC drain lines.

FILL VALVES: Water Fill Valves are used to regulate flow back to the individual tanks from a centralized water pump. Available in 1/4”, 3/4”, and 1” pipe sizes. All valves have a male NPT thread at the inlet side and output the water at a 90 degree angle or straight inline (as PBV1/2X1/4NPT), with a spigot style outlet (no fitting). Uses a lever style adjustment with quarter or half turn actuation.
